Dear ASS Editors,
Recently I was having dinner at Zheng hua community club coffee shop. To my shock I saw this town council cleaner (I knew them as they are the cleaner always cleaning the blk where I stay) was climbing on the ladder that was resting on the side of the roof top washing the link way roof top.
The thing that caught me attention was a few time when he was washing the roof top with the hose he almost loss his balance and fell down but luckily he managed to got back his balance and continue the washing.
The question is do town council allow this kind of high risk cleaning. As I saw the worker do not have any safety secure and what will happen if he fell from the ladder.
I fully understand that everyone want a clean environment but by taking someone life in endanger to make our environment clean I don’t think this is the way. I think there must be a better way rather then to ask the poor worker to climb so high to wash the roof top.
