MOTHERSHIP.SG GETS CAUGHT POSTING FAKE NEWS ABOUT MALAYSIAN POLICE AD

“An alleged Royal Malaysian Police (PDRM) recruitment advertisement featuring a Singaporean actor in full police gear and which was shared on social media, is a hoax. PDRM corporate communications head Asmawati Ahmad confirmed this with FMT, saying that the idea of using a Singaporean actor in any of its advertisements was absolutely nonsensical.”

It’s not the first time Mothership.sg posted fake news. The issues is they act like they are a legitimate outlet, so when they post fake news, people will treat it as true.
