ARTMANI ITALIA FUNITURE SHOP RUN ROAD WITH $65,000 DEPOSITS, 50 CUSTOMERS NO SOFA FOR CNY

More than 50 Artmani Italia customers were scammed of their funiture deposits after the furniture company shut down and run road. Customers paid more than $65,000 to the furniture firm and are now left without their furnitures supposed to be delivered before CNY. The showroom is now locked and its staff are uncontactable.

Some irate customers had tried banging on the company’s doors but nobody appears to be inside the office. Units listed under the company has been sealed off and the landlord stated that no persons are allowed to enter with effect from 18 January.

Police reports have been filed and CASE has received more than 15 complaints against the company since 2016. Some customers had paid full price for their sofa sets, some cost as much as $4,000 per set.
