I took a Comfort cab today and had a very interesting conversation with the cabby. I asked him how come Comfort is not lowering their rentals for their cabbies in light of stiff competition from fellow cab companies and Uber? His reply was that Comfort has a different “strategy”.
They are doing “Bad Eggs Cleansing” right now. For those good drivers, they load them with calls, incentives and “revised-competitive” rental schemes to make sure their revenue does not fall too drastically.
But for those bad drivers, they are not doing anything for them and hoping that they will leave Comfort. Any Comfort people out there that can confirm this?
