BISHAN PARK BECOMES BISHAN POND AFTER “ONCE IN 50 YEARS” FLOOD

I saw this article today on the news.

I couldn’t believe my eyes that this is the park where I used to bring my children 50 years ago.

It seemed like just yesterday when I brought my young daughter aged 2 and son aged 4 to play at the recreational playgrounds there.

So much time has passed. I didn’t even realize it’s now SG100.

I wonder how many more of such “once in 50 years” events we’ll experience in the future.
