62 OASIS STUDENT FALL SICK IN FIRST WEEK BACK AT SCHOOL

Dear A.S.S. Editor

Read that 62 students from Oasis Primary School suffered from vomiting and diarrhoea in the first week back in school. Staff members, however, were not affected.

The numbers was so high that the school quickly took pre-emptive measures to disinfect the school on top of the regular cleaning, once they found out that many of their students had fallen sick. Police, MOH, NEA and PUB were also called in by the school to help investigate the cause of the students falling sick. Thus far, investigations indicated there were no hygiene lapses in the school. All the 62 students have recovered.

So, what was the cause of the sudden surge of students getting sick? And why only the students were affected? The authorities better get down to the bottom of the issue, and must inform the public.
