16 Y.O. GIRL FACES 10 YEARS JAIL FOR CHEATING MONEY ON CAROUSELL

A 16 year-old girl has become one of the few Carousell users to be charged for scamming Singaporeans on the online marketplace app Carousell.

According to investigations, the girl had advertised “slimming cream” on Carousell to buyers, and then went MIA after buyers transferred the money to her.

Several victims made police reports since 28 Sep last year.

She faces up to 10 years jail and a fine if convicted.
