SUICIDE IN SG IS 415 ON AVERAGE EACH YEAR. MORE THAN ONE SUICIDE PER DAY!

Dear A.S.S. Editor

In Parliament today, the Minister gave numbers for the rate of suicide in Singapore.

According the numbers, between 2011 and 2015, there was an average of 415 deaths from suicides each year. This works out to more than one death each day from suicide! This is just too many! Living in Singapore is getting too stressful, that suicide numbers also quite high. Interesting to see out of the suicides, which was the age group with the highest number of deaths from suicide. Education stress, financial stress, family stress, everything stressful. For some, living in Singapore is not as heavenly anymore.

Something needs to be done to reduce a highly stressful lifestyle here.
