Dear A.S.S. Editor
Recently, I went to an NTUC outlet, doing my grocery shopping. I went to the Halal section for chicken, intending to buy some chicken drumsticks.
Imagine my surprise when on one of the chicken sold, there was no Halal logo sticker from MUIS. Instead, there is just a printed halal on the price tag. Even then, the words did not completely spell halal. Instead, it was (hal. What is this? So is this chicken meat halal or not? If not, understand it might be a mistake from your staff placing it there. But why then is there part of the word Halal on the price tag?
There’s a huge difference between printing the word halal and having the logo which is accredited by MUIS. Time to get your act together, NTUC!
