Dear Editors,
My friend and I were at Woodlands Waterfront recently when we spotted what appears to be a crocodile with a long snout. My friend called NParks but we don’t know what happened after that because we had to go back early.

Saltwater crocodiles roams the shores of Singapore decades ago but were hunted to near extinction. Recently, another crocodile sighting was made in the Kallang basin but experts concluded that it was most likely a monitor lizard swimming in the water.
It is unclear if the creature spotted this time was a crocodile.
