HK TABLOID: IMPOUNDED S’PORE TERREX HAVE DISAPPEARED FROM SECURED HONGKONG WAREHOUSE

Hong Kong tabloid, Apple Daily reported that the 9 confiscated Singapore terrex armoured vehicles have “disappeared” from the warehouse in which it was securely impounded since November 2016. The vehicles were last seen at the secure holding warehouse on the 30th of December and security guards at the warehouse refused to shed light on the missing military vehicles.

Singapore’s Ministry of Defence have not made a statement on the latest development but Defence Minister Ng Eng Hen in his 2016 year end address said that the terrex confiscation was a low point for the SAF and that procedures have been changed to ensure the safety of Singapore military assets.
