S’PORE MAN PUTS AD TO FIND TW GIRL HE FELL IN LOVE WITH AT FIRST SIGHT

A Singaporean man in his 20s was in Kaohsiung, Taiwan, where he met a girl at an eatery. He fell in love with her at first sight and tried to chat her up, but was interrupted by the arrival of her friend. When he finally mustered up his courage to talk to her again, he realized that she had already left.

Now he has put up an advertisement on a Taiwanese newspaper to seek out the girl. Printed in Chinese and distributed all over the city of Kaohsiung, the ad reads, “Where is that lady?” in Taiwanese Mandarin.

Netizens gave mixed responses to the Singaporean man’s act of blind love.

One netizen said, “It’s a nice gesture, but how are you going to find someone in Taiwan if you have no picture?”

Others echoed his sentiments.

“Kaohsiung is a very large city. Much bigger than Singapore. You don’t even have a photograph of her, how do you expect to find her?”

A female netizen wrote, “I suspect this man has ulterior motives for wanting to meet the girl.”
