At 9.05AM today, an internet forummer posted a photo of CTC Travel website, which had allegedly been hacked by a group known as Anonymous Arabe.
CTC is a popular local travel agency.
The image showed a colored image of the earth with the sun beaming from behind the horizon. The hackers left a message, “Hacked by Anonymous Arabe” and a logo, which allegedly belongs to the hacker group Anonymous.
Subsequently, someone else posted more images of the hacked website, with more messages from the hackers:
“WE ARE HERE TO DELIVER A MESSAGE !
WE ARE MUSLIMS, AND WE ARE PROUD !
QURAN IS OUR BOOK
IN ALLAH WE TRUST
FOR ALLAH WE WORK
DEATH TO ISRAEL
FREE PALESTINE
JERUSALEM IS OURS
Expect us!”
At about 9.50AM, the website appears to have been taken down.
At about 11.30AM today, the CTC website has been restored. CTC did not give any comment about their website being hacked.
