BRAVE SINGAPOREANS SPEAK AT HUMAN RIGHTS DAY

10 Dec 2016 was Human Rights Day.

Mr Leong Sze Hian, president of Maruah, spoke at Hong Lim Park.

Mr Leong is the past president of the society of financial service professionals, an alumnus of Harvard University, authored 4 books and quoted over 1000 times in the media.

He is also the executive producer of ILO ILO, our local award winning movie.

Han Hui Hui was banned from speaking at Hong Lim Park since #ReturnOurCPF event on 27 Sep 2014.

Singapore’s District Judge Chay Yuen Fatt made judgement as follows:
1. SGD$2,500 fine because “She rallied her Facebook readers”.
2. SGD$600 fine because she “made vitriolic speeches to denounce the government and various government policies”.

Yesterday, on 11 Dec 2016, nparks rejected her application to speak at Hong Lim Park again.
