LTA OFFICERS IMPOUND E-SCOOTER RIDING ON MANDAI RD, FLAUNTS IT ON SOCIAL MEDIA

As part of our regular enforcement, LTA conducts periodic enforcement operations against the reckless riding of personal mobility devices (PMDs) on roads and on footpaths.

During one of our operations this month, our Active Mobility Enforcement Officers (AMEOs) stopped a PMD user who had been riding his e-scooter along Mandai Road, endangering both himself and other road users. His e-scooter has since been impounded.

We would like to remind all e-scooter riders that it is an offence to use their PMDs on the road and we will take enforcement action against any rider found doing so.
