PUB SUSPENDS WATER SPORTS @ MARINA RESERVOIR AFTER ‘CROCODILE’ SIGHTINGS

National Water Agency PUB has suspended all water sports activities in Marina Reservoir after members of the public sighted a creature that looks like a crocodile in the reservoir waters near Sports Hub.

PUB said they received multiple reports of crocodile sightings on Saturday morning (26 November 2016) and are now patrolling the waters to identify the creature. According to their preliminary findings, PUB said that it was most likely a monitor lizard.

All National Sports Associations and water sports operators have suspended their activities as a precaution. The reservoir is frequently used for canoeing, kayaking and dragon boating.
