MOTORCYCLIST KILLED WHILE TRYING TO AVOID TREE BRANCH ALONG WEST COAST HIGHWAY

A 37 year-old motorcyclist was killed in an accident on West Coast Highway near Clementi road while trying to avoid a fallen tree branch on the right side of the expressway.

Photos of the deceased motorcyclist were uploaded on Facebook group Connextaxi.

Police cordoned off 2 lanes on the 3-lane highway, causing a traffic jam.

The Singapore Civil Defence Force said it was alerted to the accident at 6.50AM and sent an ambulance. The driver was found dead on the scene by paramedics.
