S’PORE AT CROSSROADS, PAP’S SOLUTION IS TO STAND STILL

The world has changed beyond recognition since our independence.

Despite globalisation, advancements in IT, etc PAP’s system has hardly evolved with the times. NS, CPF, ISA, etc require a revamp or abolishment but PAP has insisted on tweaks as THE solution.

How is setting up more committees populated by own kakis going to help? Or more government agencies such as WDA with its 1001 schemes which don’t address the root causes of issues?

And when these fail, yet more tweaks.

Singapore is at a crossroads and if propaganda, PAP control, zero transparency and accountability continue to rule the day, then we’ll continue to be at a standstill. Having fun watching others overtake us?
