A big ice machine maker inside a hawker stall at Blk 79 Redhill Market.
This pose as a fire hazard as the big compressor of the ice making machine is above the stall and if it ignites fire sparks the whole market is bound to be engulf by fire. Secondly, the compressor is located above the stall and it has exceeded the approved boundary of 2.4m of NEA’s guidelines for alteration works.
Wrote to NEA about this issue 3 weeks ago and no reply from them. Our government is so “EFFICIENT” until 3 weeks still no REPLY. This is really First Class Organisation which takes such a long time to “SIT” on it and reply. It is obvious that the stall owner had flaunted the rules and NEA is keeping quiet. Must we wait till a fire breaks out before NEA takes action?
