Yesterday night (Nov 17), a man’s entire left foot got caught between the escalator steps at Bugis Junction (B1 level) on the escalator right beside Subway & Boost Juice.
The 27 year old man was rescued by the Singapore Civil Defence Force. His toe was injured. He was conveyed conscious to the Singapore General Hospital.
He was dressed in formal wear and he wore shoes when the incident occurred.
A staff of Bugis Junction said that the mall was investigating the incident and that the safety of customers is of utmost importance.
