Recently, NTUC Fairprice store at Bukit Panjang (Jalan Jelebu) has been upgraded to NTUC Finest. This is really not necessary and not welcome because prices seems to go up. In the past, I could find BUDGET and SUPER VALUE Bread, but they have since been taken off the shelf and are being replaced by more expensive breads !!
I also notice that prices for tomato, broccoli … have gone up few notches. Shouldn’t NTUC be more considerate to heartlanders ?
You have been trying to actively promote yourself as a Social Enterprise on the media recently and I thought one of NTUC Fairprice aim is to ensure prices remain low/ competitive ?
Why increase prices when the economic outlook seems so bleak now ?.
