Staff of Mindchamps Reading & Writing at One KM were shocked when the premium pre-school closed down last month with notice.
They have not been paid since July. The headquarters informed the staff that they should carry on teaching as they would still be paid.
In August, the staff felt something was amissed when Mr Jack Ye Junfeng, 39, and Mr Daniel Ding Runqiang, 38, the two directors of MindChamps Reading & Writing at One KM, did not show up for work.
When contacted, Mr Ye revealed that he is no longer a director of the two schools, as he was voted out in August.
The company’s director of communications Greg Parker said that the outlet at One KM was a franchaise. It had “failed to meet MindChamps HQ’s stringent quality control” and therefore its franchise licence has been revoked.”
