An e-Scooter user Ethan Tai was stopped by LTA officers for failing to dismount and push his e-scooter across the zebra crossing. Due to the offence, his e-scooter was towed away which upset the rider. He took to social media asking if there was no law in Singapore and made a police report against the LTA officers for illegally towing away his e-scooter.
Is the netizen justified in his anger against the LTA officers? He further argued that after he was stopped, other e-bikers did the same thing but was not stopped by LTA officers, double standards he said.
Complaint by Ethan Tai:
“What is the wrong when i am not on the road and with hemlet on and light ? And tow away my scooter without permission.just to know is there law in Singapore! WTF”
