A Woodlands resident Ms Grace Wan wrote in to Sembawang Town Council to complain about the millipede infestation at Blk 717A Woodlands Drive 70. On the 2nd Floor Garden & Playground area, Ms Wan wrote that there were “thousands and thousands of worms everywhere”.
Given that the area is frequented by children who play in the area, the Woodlands resident urged the town council to take immediate remedy action and send pest control down to resolve the safety situation.
Responding to her feedback, the Sembawang Town Council said “Dear Grace, please be informed that our landscape contractor will be going down to put chemical today as a measure to deter the millipedes. Thank you for highlighting this issue to us.”
As of 15 October 2016, it is unclear if the matter has be appropriately resolved. Could any residents living nearby confirm?
