WHEN PAP POLICIES FAIL TO TAKE OFF, S’POREANS ALWAYS BLAMED FOR NOT DOING ENOUGH

Dear Selvam Raj,

“You need a very small space to have sex.”

Those were the EXACT WORDS, quoted from Josephine Teo. No one misquoted her or took her words out of context. What she meant, I think we all understood well enough.

Many of us readers are actually working adults, who have actually have thought about family planning, and considered factors like housing, affordability, work-life balances, among other things. So despite what you might think, we are not completely clueless about the subject.

No one needs to read any of Josephine Teo’s interview or speeches. Because like every single one of her speeches, it is self-praising, self-endorsing all self-made policies, and always, always, forever blaming Singaporeans for not having done enough. If a policy didn’t have the desired effect, it’s always the Singaporeans who have not done enough to support the policy.

Prove to me that I’m wrong.

It’s one thing to say something so ludicrous, it will be meme’d for years to come. It’s another thing to publicly endorse those words while repeatedly condemning the reader who refuse to agree with those words.

Kindly take your disgusting pandering antics out of public view. I will be ashamed to call you a Singaporean.
