A Singaporean man was cheated big time after he purchased an iPhone 7 online but got a iPhone box full of nails instead. He met up with the seller in person at a MRT station to pay for the iPhone but after paying, the seller rushed off in a hurry.
Feeling suspicious, the buyer opened the iPhone box and to his horror he saw the box filled with nails instead of a real iPhone 7 and made a police report in fury.
With the help of TransCom police officers, police started an investigation and arrested the 25 year old scam suspect. The suspect is charged with cheating offences and could be jailed up to 10 years.
