2 YR OLD BOY TAKEN HOSTAGE IN SEMBAWANG HDB FLAT, POLICE NEGOTIATING HIS RELEASE

A 2 year old boy living in Sembawang Drive has been held hostage by a man for more than 14 hours. The hostage taker, a 39 year old man locked himself and the boy inside the flat at Blk 462 Sembawang Drive after a dispute with the boy’s mother.

Police negotiators are outside the house trying to seek the boy’s release. According to Sembawang MP Lim Wee Kiak, the boy is unharmed and has access to food and water.
