PART OF CEILING COLLAPSED AS 10 Y.O GIRL STEPS OUT OF TOILET

At a HDB unit in Bukit Batok Ave 5, a 10 year old girl was about to walk out of the toilet after taking a shower when part of the ceiling fell and landed 30 cm away from her.

Her maid who witnessed the incident said it was a close shave. Any delay and it would have been “too late”.

The slab that fell off the ceiling weighed about 1.4 kg.
