WOMAN KNOCKED DOWN BY EBIKER MAY BE TAKEN OFF LIFE SUPPORT

53 year-old housewife Ang Liu Kiow may not survive her injuries, according to news reports. This was after she sustained severe head injuries when she was knocked down by a reckless 17 year-old who was speeding on his e-scooter.

She left her Pasir Ris home with her bicycle last Saturday but was knocked down and sent too the hospital. She was still awake after the accident but lost consciousness in the ambulance while on the way to Changi General Hospital (CGH).

Her condition has worsened, and her husband and children may have to remove her from life support if there is no further improvement.

Her son, 22 year-old Wilson Leong had posted online looking for the teenager who knocked down his mother, called and ambulance and then ran away without leaving his contact.

The e-scooterist was arrested yesterday. The police have classified the case as a rash act causing grievous hurt and are investigating.
