SIA REWARDS PARALYMPIC CHAMPION YIP PIN XIU WITH 1 MILLION KRISLFYER POINTS & 1ST CLASS TRAVEL

Singapore’s paralympic champion Yip Pin Xiu who won 2 gold medals in 50m and 100m bakcstroke S2 events was rewarded with 1 million KrisFlyer miles by national carrier Singapore Airlines. She was also seated in first class together with paralympic bronze medallist Theresa Goh.

Team Singapore Paralympians were greeted by Singapore Arilines staff in Barcelona with banners, flowers, champange and a cake to celebrate their Rio success. The contigent will touch down in Singapore at 5.35am on Wednesday and a celebratory parade is scheduled on Saturday.

Yip won two gold medals in the 50m and 100m backstroke S2 events and broke the 100m backstroke S2 event in world record time.
