Boom! I look out of the kitchen window and see debris falling off the lower roof of my HDB block. A large model plane just crashed into the roof, leaving a hole, and broke up upon impact. That’s kinda scary.
I went down and a neighbour who called the police said, lucky it didn’t crash into someone’s windows. Others said lucky didn’t smash into the parked cars, just meters away, or into any pedestrians or kids playing at the void deck.
The hobby pilot lost control of the plane while flying it at Bishan Park? Can’t be anything sinister to this, right? And then my legislator instincts started kicking in. Is there a parliamentary question in this? Goodness.
