PAP IS SHIFTING GOAL POSTS TO MAKE PRESIDENCY OUT OF FOR TAN CHENG BOCK

Dear Editors,

The current proposed changes to the elected presidency, is an obvious act of shifting the goalpost to make it out of reach to Dr Tan Cheng Bock.

The pap wants to add this absurd criteria, you have to be the CEO of a conglomerate first before you can become our president.

SMLJ? Like dat win liao lor!

And all of this while preaching for minority race president. Question: How many of our prime ministers have been non-Chinese?

It’s very obvious that the pap is making sure that the next president is more like Dr Tony Tan, and less like Mr Ong Teng Cheong.

Mr Ong was the only president ever, to actually dispute with PAP over access of information of financial reserves. Ong demanded for a full record of all government-owned assets. The best answer he got, it would take 56-man-years to produce a dollar-and-cents value of the immovable assets. Eventually, after 3 years, they gave Ong a half-complete list of the assets.

The last thing the pap needs is a president that actually asks questions. So Tan Cheng Bock is a hell no for them. So what do you do? You shift the goalpost out of his reach.
