IF ZIKA IS A “MILD” VIRUS, WHY OTHER COUNTRIES ISSUE TRAVEL BAN?

Hmm… Correct me if I am wrong but I do not recall any country issuing travel advisory for Singapore’s Dengue fever’s situation.

On the other hand, there are now 6 or 7 countries doing so for Zika. Logically, this can only mean that Zika is a more serious threat than Dengue, despite both being spread by the same mode of distribution, the Aedes mosquitoes.

According W.H.O, Zika is a Global Health Emergency. However, Ong Ye Kung, the PAP’s Acting Minister for Education and Senior Minister of State for the Ministry of Defence, made an unbelievable claim that Zilka is just a “mild” virus. To date I have yet seen him retracting his claim.

It is amazing how 7 out of every 10 Singaporeans can trust, vote and choose to give absolute power to such politicians with their eyes opened. Since Zika affect the brain, maybe they have all already been infected.

My condolences to the 30.14%.
