If you see this fake email from “Singapore Power”, DO NOT OPEN THE ATTACHMENTS AND DELETE IT STRAIGHT AWAY!
It seems there are hackers who are making use of this email to upload malware onto your computer!
If you’ve already opened the email, DO NOT OPEN THE ATTACHMENT as it may contain viruses or trojans.
SP services has also give a statement about this:
“Some of our customers have alerted us to an email they received that appears to be from SP Services ([email protected]). The email has an attachment that suggests it’s a utility bill.
These messages are NOT from SP Services and recipients are advised NOT to open the attachment. The official SP Services bill summary sent by email does NOT contain any attachment.
