Dear ASS Editors,
I took up a zaobao subscription with SPH for a 3 years period payment via credit card monthly. After 2 and a half year, i stopped receiving my newspapers on end July.
Unknowingly why, i thought the newspaper vendor was sick or misplaced. So on the third day i suspected if the subscription had due fulfilling a 3 years period, i checked my email if there was a reminder to continue.
Instead a email was send to say subscription was cancelled due to credit card unsuccessful and i could reinstate . I realised my old credit card had expired and the bank had renewed my card which i had overlooked to inform SPH.
So on the 12 August i replied them with my consent and new credit card info. Unexpectedly i received a reminder of outstanding payment with an admin fee of $500! This is worst blood sucking then credit card company! I am so angry with the whole incident and i had written in to ask for justification.
