Singaporean Youtuber Amos Yee who is on trial for wounding the religious feelings of others pleaded guilty to two other charges of failing to turn up at a police station even after he was served notice.
He failed to turn up on 14 December 2015 and 10 May 2016 despite being served a notice to do so by a police officer in person. Judge Ong Hian Sun will sentence Amos for these 2 contempt of lawful authority charges after the trial for his remaining 6 charges for wounding the religious feelings of others.
The maximum penalty for each contempt of lawful authority charge is 1 months jail or a $1,500 fine. Amos continues to claim trial for his 6 remaining charges.
