S’PORE BOY KIDNAPPED IN JB AFTER FATHER LEFT HIM ALONE IN PARKED BMW

A seven year old Singaporean boy was kidnapped in JB on Saturday evening. His father had parked his car and went down to buy something for a short moment, leaving the boy alone in the vehicle. It was at this time that the car thief broke into his car and drove off the vehicle with the boy in it. Fortunately the boy was eventually found 5 kilometers from where he was taken after a frantic 6 hour search.

The father was driving a Singapore plate white BMW and left his vehicle to buy things from a nearby shop. He told his son to lock the car door but after a few minutes when he returned to the parked car, the vehicle together with his son had disappeared.

This incident was posted onto social media by a Malaysian friend and after an anxious 6 hour wait, they received a call saying the boy was sighted about 5 km away. The boy was unhurt in the incident.

The police have yet to arrest the perpetrators and the stolen car is still missing.
