Ahmad: Bro, you heard about the new law can anyhow tangkap Singaporeans for talking about an ongoing court case?
Ah Kow: Ya lor, the PAP now so desperate to believe any Tom, Dick and Hairy can affect the decision of the judge. It’s a stupid law but what to do? Anyway most Singapore laws designed for PAP to have more control.
Ahmad: You better talk softer OK, anyhow imply the judge is stupid also considered scandalising …..
Ah Kow: But I am nobody so how come I can lower the reputation of the learned judge? My name is Ah Kow, not some big shot OK? Haha.
Arumugam: Anyway, PAP just want to have a blanket law so they can choose to apply as and when they want. The objective – create more fear and curb free speech – has already been achieved. One potential blogger has explained his fear to start blogging.because of the new law.
Ah Kow: I also heard all the NMPs voted to support this in Parliament. They are all like PAP MPs, pretend to debate like their lives depend on it but in the end wasted everyone’s time because the outcome has always been a foregone conclusion. Now I understand the true meaning of WAYANG.
Arumugam: It’s the same with every bill passed in Parliament which we know had already been decided by PAP’s inner circle. No wonder our Parliament is also called pariahment by some blogger.
Ahmad: In this case, there’s one NMP who loves to talk cock like PAP. First he wanted to propose amendments but later do U-turn and said Minister Shanmugam convinced him that our system got checks and balances. KNN can you believe this joker actually think like that?
Ah Kow: Wa lau eh, he got eyes or not? More than 90% MPs in Parliament belong to one party is considered got checks and balances? Maybe he failed his primary school Maths? How can 10% ever oppose 90%? NMP Cock think can stop army tanks with pistols or what?
Arumugam: After Cock supported the bill, he felt guilty and wrote a lengthy FB ‘reflection’ to explain why he became another Yes-man. But what he said didn’t make sense because as a theatre practitioner, Cock “already felt the space for public commentary has become more constrained”. If Kok has already been directly affected by PAP laws, why did he still choose to support the bill?
Ah Kow: Ya hor, come to think of it, this NMP Cock damn funny. His excuse for 180 degree turn is he did not understand legal terms earlier but what about common sense? He cannot see PAP trying to constrain, if possible, every group meh? From proposing amendments to suddenly joining the PAP camp because some minister throw some smoke, ie our judges can overrule the PAP government. Haha.
Ahmad: Bro, don’t talk too loudly but you think our judges got any backbone?
Arumugam: Citizens were labeled communists in the 1980s (Marxist Conspiracy), thrown into jail but subsequently released because there was NO proof: the PAP government made a grave error. Do you hear our judges uttering even a single word to hold PAP accountable? In Teo Chee Hean’s words, what do you think?
Ah Kow: Bro, I remember another case when PM Lee, KFC president and Lau Goh went inside the Cheng San GRC polling station on Polling Day. Not only the security staff and presiding officer got no balls to deny them entry but AG Chan Sek Keong, a Supreme Court judge who later became Chief Justice, came to their defence by playing with words like ”outside”, “within a radius” and “inside”. As a judge, he had made a mockery of the law and must have appeared a laughing stock to the world.
Ahmad: By insisting that the 3 law breakers did not break the law, Chan has implied that everyone can enter any polling station. Questions:
Would the security staff allow entry to every citizen who has no business in a polling station?
Is there a different set of laws for PM Lee, KFC president and MP Goh?
Ah Kow: Fair-minded Singaporeans are aware there is a different set of laws for the elites but most are too fearful to speak up. Now with the new contempt law, free speech is as good as dead.
Arumugam: Maybe NMP Cock does not know our history or just has his own bootlicking agenda? Judges are independent of the PAP government? Really?
Ah Kow: I think Singaporeans mind less if you don’t put on a show, want to support and por their political masters just go ahead. But don’t be such a hypocrite and still want to try to explain the reason for bootlicking, like NMP Cock. What’s the point?
Ahmad: All the NMPs are PAP appointees and it is natural for them to be supportive of PAP in every way. To expect otherwise is to expect our trains and HDB lifts to stop breaking down regularly after poor/no maintenance.
Ah kow: Singaporeans better be realistic. All our NMPs are as jiak liow bee as PAP MPs and a waste of tax dollars. Expect them to talk cock like PAP and we can continue to suck thumb.
