A gun was spotted stashed in a parked motorcycle parked at Blk 112 Simei Street 1 on Wednesday evening. Concerned passers-by were terrified by the find and called for police assistance.
Within minutes, Police arrive and set up a cordon around the motorcycle and conducted further checks on the vehicle.
After checking, it was revealed that the gun was a replica and did not pose a real threat to public safety. With fears of terrorist attacks at an all time high, it is puzzling why anyone would carry a gun replica around with them on their motorbike.
Singapore Police are conducting further investigation into the matter.
