Dis Grace Fu, who is the Minister for Culture, Community and Youth, said last month that the decision not to live telecast of Olympic Games remains a commercial one. She also said delayed telecast will not dampen the celebratory mood of the nation if Singapore’s athletes win a medal in Rio and that the 30 hours time difference is just too much.
Now we find dis Grace Fu flying 30 hours to share the joy of our country’s first Olympic Gold and take photo and put on her Facebook page?? Isn’t that not a waste of taxpayers’ money and a poor commercial decision to steal Schooling’s limelight??
After dis Grace Fu spend so much money building a rubbish bin beside a museum and importing all these China talent who simply cannot win a Gold, I find it really insulting to Singaporeans that she uses a commercial reason to justify delayed telecast for the Olympics. So why don’t you just stay in Singapore and delay your photo-taking with Schooling and the other athletes in Rio??
