BLOODIED MAN IN YISHUN STABBING CASE ALLEGEDLY STABBED HIMSELF

According to a netizen, a man who was found lying in a pool of blood outside Banquet food court on the third level of Yishun shopping mall, had allegedly stabbed himself with a knife in an attempted suicide.

When photos of the bloodied man lying on the ground first appeared on Twitter, several netizens reacted with horror and thought that the man had been murdered.

However, the SCDF has confirmed that the man is still alive. SCDF says it was informed of the incident at 1.22PM and conveyed the young man in his 20s to Khoo Teck Puat Hospital.
