PRC THIEF SYNDICATE STEAL CREDIT CARDS FROM ORCHARD ROAD SHOPPERS!

If you’re shopping along Orchard Road, beware!

Thanks to alert staff at a Watches of Switzerland store along Orchard Road, Singapore Police Force were alerted to a case of stolen credit cards being used by unauthorized persons. The alert staff had alerted the police after a PRC man tried to use a card which was tied to a Japanese tourist’s name.

The watch store manager said that another 2 foreigners tried to buy watches at the store later in the same day.

The police arrested 3 PRCs at Changi Airport in connection with this case. They were caught with several luxury items, such as wallets, bags, belts, watches and perfumes, which were valued at a total of $29,000.
