NUS Kent Ridge Hall are getting their residents to boycott ASS, so as to prevent the news from spreading.
They call it “malicious” trolling but why haven’t anyone step up to deny the allegations? Are they afraid of people knowing the truth, going as far as asking the entire hall population to unfollow, block and report ASS to “protect” the hall?
Shouldn’t they be calling out the people involved in organising the activity and those involved in decorating that room and investigating it rather than trying to stop the news from spreading? In light of current situation regarding NUS, Kent Ridge Hall has kept the activity going, as long as they “do not get caught”.
Maybe it’s time for Kent Ridge Hall to stop pointing fingers at others and take care of root of the problem, it being themselves. Let’s hope NUS and the various Halls will take a tough stand against such things and revise their system so as to stop students from sexualizing the activities.
