POKEMON GO FINALLY LAUNCHED IN S’PORE, KIDS GO CRAZY?

Pokemon GO mobile game has finally launched in Singapore after a botched debut released one month ago. Since Saturday morning, the mobile application could be downloaded on Apple store and Google Play store.

The game launched to much fanfare but its popularity overloaded the servers and caused the month long delayed release in Singapore. It was also hit with privacy concerns and PAP Minister Yaacob Ibrahim said the Government would monitor the impact of the game and step in if necessary.

Since this morning, kids and adults alike have been swarming the parks near their homes looking to catch pokemon. The full impact Pokemon GO will have on Singapore is yet to be seen.
