RESIDENTS OF MARSILING HAD NO WATER SUPPLY FOR OVER 4 HOURS ON SUNDAY

Last Sunday afternoon, at about 3.30 pm, residents of 180C Marsiling Road had their water supply cut off unexpectedly.

The residents had no water supply for over 4 hours. The Essential Maintenance Service Unit (EMSU) received a call from a resident and they turned on the tap of the wash bay so that residents could bring their buckets there to collect water. It was reported that 420 families were affected.

Water supply was eventually resumed at 8.05 pm. It was likely that there was a problem with the electrical supply of the pump room.
