MOTORCYCLIST DIES AFTER GETTING ROLLED UNDER CAR ALONG KJE

A 60 year-old motorcyclist died after he got pinned under a car following an accident on the Kranji Expressway (KJE).

The accident took place at about 5.30AM this morning and caused a section of the KJE to be closed. 3 lanes along the KJE were still shut down at about 7AM, which resulted in a long line of traffic due to the morning peak hour rush.

By 8AM, traffic had reached all the way back to the Bukit Timah Expressway (BKE).

The Singapore Police Force had posted advisories asking motorists to avoid the congestion,
