I have a friend who is going Taiwan solo because his friend bailed out on him last minute.

He’s now asking me if he can join my trip with my group of friends. But he doesn’t know a single one of my friends, and I don’t want him in my group of friends either.

I’m not sure what his intentions are, and how long he will join us in Taipei. I don’t feel comfortable mixing him and my friends, but I want to reject him in a way that he won’t feel as if I don’t like him and will forever not meet up with him again.

I don’t know how to tell this to him. I only told him I’m going to Taiwan a few months ago. Why would I want to share my life with someone I don’t really like in the first place?

How should I tell him to convince him not to go with us?
