NETIZENS OUTRAGED AFTER ACTUAL DAY NDP TICKETS RESOLD ONLINE FOR $250 EACH

Dear ASS,

Netizens were up in arms after forum member Nuaster shared a gumtree advertisement selling actual day NDP tickets for $250 per ticket. He complained that despite “ballot so many times don’t have.. really have the heart to attend the parade also no chance… some buggers got the tickets and they are selling it at this price!!”

The advert states “Each ticket holder can redeem one goodie bag on actual day itself. Each ticket selling at $250. Please advise the number of tickets you are buying and email to [email protected]”

Does this imply that the seller has more than a pair of tickets for sale since interested buyers are advised to specify the number of tickets they wish to purchase?

Will the authorities take action against these black market ticket sellers profiteering at the expense of Singaporeans?
