When Jasmine was approached by a user on Carousell going by the nickname “est9182” and asked to model a blouse without her bra on, she didn’t think too much about it.
“The person had a girl’s profile picture and had also asked me about sizing. ‘She’ first asked me to send a picture of me wearing the top, which I did. Then she said she was afraid the top wouldn’t fit because our body sizes looked different and asked if I could wear it without my bra on. It sounded ok to me at that time.”
But after the picture was sent, “est9182” went on to ask if she could wear take a closer look at her body to see how different they were to “confirm” if the blouse would fit – “she” asked Jasmine to pose in just her bra without the blouse on.
“That’s when I knew that something wasn’t right already and refused.”
Jasmine told her husband about the incident and naturally, he got angry and chided her.
