AM I KAYPOH FOR ASKING PRC LADY TO GIVE UP RESERVED MRT SEAT TO OLD MAN?

Dear Editors,

Am I doing the wrong thing to request this 40-50+ auntie to give up seat to 70 old ah pek? as she is the nearest person and all others [including those sit in the opposite row] fell sleep in the early morning today. kena scolded by her. at the end no choice have to wake those fall sleep to give up the seat to ah pek. probably would not so “keypok” next time

To me this auntie looks 48-50 and ah pek looks about 75-78 with grey hair. it’s okay if she think she needed the seat however no need to freak-out when being request to, she speaks Mandarin with very strong China accent

first told her by giving hand gesture pointing to ah pek as I am not standing in front of her. she give gave me irritating expression. no choice I walked to the person sit next to her, and wake that man up. after that talk nicely to this PRC woman, she freak-out. I learn a lesson and moral of the story, “”only request youngster to,give up seat””
